About the project:

Project “Chances to Grow in Pandemic Period” took place in Ighiu, Romania, 26th of April to 4th of May 2022. Countries which participated were Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Turkey. Each team consisted of six members. Our purpose was to develop our skills to identify and take advantage of opportunities in the labor market online in precarious economic situations – Covid 19. To do this, we focused on developing our skills to analyze and filter the ways to generate income online, learn about digital entrepreneurship and develop our self-discipline, perseverance and motivation to fulfil our personal and professional dreams.

On the first day we were getting to know each other and trying to remember all of our names. The participants connected to each other really quickly and soon become very close. We discussed the project, did team-building games, set up rules, so, the first day seemed to pass as fast as it took you to read these lines.

From the second day we started to work on our topic and the project was moving fast to achieving our learning objectives. The activities were varied and we learned a lot about many things – how to get informed better and to not fall for fake news and advertising, how you can make money by pursuing a career in the online environment, how to better develop your CV, how to act in an interview, how it’s the life on an entrepreneur etc. Everything was very interesting and the activities were created in a way that made us learn with pleasure. We debated, worked in teams, played roles, experimented, shared knowledge with each other and, over all of this, we had a looooot of fun.

I am writing this and I remember all the good moments, from the fire camp, to the smile of that Greek guy that remained in my heart (that’s our secret), from the gossip box that made our morning so chill and happy to the intercultural nights that made a great way to close up a day, from the insecurity I felt in the first day, to the tears I let in Romania in the last, when the time to go home arrived.

Its hard to describe in words what an Erasmus+ experience like this it’s really like. If I would need to describe it in a few words I would say it’s a roller-coaster of emotions that will be hard to ever forget. From shyness to strength, from energetic to tired of death, from strangers to friends, from ignorance to care, concern and knowledgeable, from nothing… to love. Love for people, for learning and for yourself.

For me this was a life changing experience I could never see it coming. It change me in a way I cannot really describe, but I am so happy it did. So, thank you all for making this happened – from the person that wrote the first word of this project to everyone that put a piece for it to come true and to become a memory I will cherish all my life.

For all of you that did not try Erasmus+ yet, please do! “Enriching lives, opening minds” are not just simple words… it’s true!

A „Chances to Grow in Pandemic Period” projektre 2022. április 26. és május 4. között került sor a romániai Ighiuban. A projektben részt vevő országok: Horvátország, Görögország, Magyarország, Románia, Spanyolország, Törökország, Törökország. Minden csapat hat tagból állt. Célunk az volt, hogy fejlesszük készségeinket, hogy bizonytalan gazdasági helyzetekben felismerjük és kihasználjuk a munkaerőpiaci lehetőségeket online – Covid 19. Ennek érdekében arra összpontosítottunk, hogy fejlesszük készségeinket az online jövedelemszerzés módjainak elemzésére és szűrésére, megismerjük a digitális vállalkozói tevékenységet, valamint fejlesszük önfegyelmünket, kitartásunkat és motivációnkat személyes és szakmai álmaink megvalósítása érdekében.

Az első napon megismerkedtünk egymással, és megpróbáltuk megjegyezni mindannyiunk nevét. A résztvevők nagyon gyorsan kapcsolódtak egymáshoz, és hamarosan nagyon közel kerültek egymáshoz. Megbeszéltük a projektet, csapatépítő játékokat játszottunk, szabályokat állítottunk fel, szóval az első nap mintha olyan gyorsan eltelt volna, mint ahogyan Ön olvassa ezeket a sorokat.

A második naptól kezdve elkezdtünk dolgozni a témánkon, és a projekt gyorsan haladt a tanulási céljaink elérése felé. A tevékenységek változatosak voltak, és sok mindenről tanultunk – hogyan tájékozódjunk jobban, és ne dőljünk be az álhíreknek és a reklámoknak, hogyan lehet pénzt keresni az online környezetben karriert csinálva, hogyan fejlesszük jobban az önéletrajzunkat, hogyan viselkedjünk egy interjún, milyen az élet egy vállalkozón stb. Minden nagyon érdekes volt, és a tevékenységeket úgy alakították ki, hogy örömmel tanuljunk. Vitatkoztunk, csapatban dolgoztunk, szerepeket játszottunk, kísérleteztünk, megosztottuk egymással a tudásunkat, és mindezek mellett nagyon jól éreztük magunkat.

Most írom ezt, és emlékszem az összes jó pillanatra, a tűztábortól kezdve, annak a görög srácnak a mosolyáig, ami a szívemben maradt (ez a mi titkunk), a pletykaládától, ami olyan lazává és vidámmá tette a reggelünket, az interkulturális estékig, amivel remekül lehetett zárni egy napot, az első napon érzett bizonytalanságtól, az utolsó napon, amikor eljött a hazaindulás ideje, a könnyekig, amiket Romániában engedtem be.

Nehéz szavakkal leírni, hogy milyen is egy ilyen Erasmus+ élmény valójában. Ha néhány szóban kellene leírnom, azt mondanám, hogy az érzelmek hullámvasútja, amit nehéz lesz valaha is elfelejteni. A félénkségtől az erősségig, az energikusságtól a halálfáradtságig, az idegenektől a barátokig, a tudatlanságtól a törődésig, az aggodalomig és a tudásig, a semmitől… a szerelemig. Szeretet az emberek, a tanulás és önmagad iránt.

Számomra ez egy olyan életet megváltoztató élmény volt, amit soha nem láttam előre. Olyan módon változtatott meg, amit nem igazán tudok leírni, de nagyon boldog vagyok, hogy így történt. Szóval, köszönöm mindenkinek, aki ezt lehetővé tette – attól a személytől kezdve, aki az első szót írta a projektről, mindenkinek, aki hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy valóra váljon, és hogy olyan emlékké váljon, amelyet egész életemben meg fogok őrizni.

Mindazok, akik még nem próbálták ki az Erasmus+-t, kérem, tegyék meg! „Életeket gazdagítani, elméket megnyitni” nem csak egyszerű szavak… ez igaz!

It was my first experience in such type of project and I really liked it. During this project I made new contacts, new friends. Now I am more aware about Youth and Erasmus + program. I enjoyed activities and workshops which we made. In my opinion, those kinds of projects are the best way to integrate young people and help them to improve different skills. I learned a lot about myself and I have so many new ideas to start my career now! I want to thank to organization Euroactive Hungary for this project and to ICD for hosting us. Thank you all that made me a part of this amazing project.”
