About the project:
With this project we want to have the opportunity to debate the condition of local media and to compare the situation in our countries of origin. With our activities we want to commit to promoting the local community, traditions, history and looking for tools that can help to make others aware of the region which they inhabi. In order to translate the problem into universal conditions, it is worth reaching for international integration, which will allow finding common mechanisms and solutions.
Therefore, also the topics of empowering rural regions, care for the environment and its evolution will be developed in a new, original way. We plan that the project will bring tangible, specific results:
- Making the community aware of the benefits of Erasmus, allowing them to get acquainted with the program and its possibilities.
- Having a major impact on the activity of young people coming from rural areas of Europe.
- Promoting the region of Puck Bay and Hel Peninsula as well as providing proper tools to the participants, so they can use them for their own areas’ publicity.
- Involvement of local media and a real impact on their content (and thus improving their condition).
- Participants creating their own media content which will be shared in all the involved organizations’ communication channels.
Moreover, the project provides participants with personal development, educates them, and strengthens their sense of European identity, thereby contributing to sustainable growth – of their quality as future workers and activists, and of awareness of the local community, that will gain education in the field and tools to implement positive changes to their environment. Moreover, this process will drive to active citizenship on local, regional, and European levels – as the participants will have a chance to go through solid integration with other countries’ inhabitants. Such integration has important results in the form of promoting common values of tolerance and equality. The project will also enhance critical thinking and media literacy and provide the participants with the skills needed for fully efficient functioning in modern society. The group will have opportunities to broaden their general outlook, as well as specific knowledge. It will encourage a
multicultural dialogue on an important topic, which will hopefully influence figures in charge in the future.
A projekt részletei
I am one of the participants for the sea you around project which took place from 08/05/2022 till 14/05/2022 in Puck, Poland. I was represented as a participant from Hungary. This was my first Erasmus+ project. In this report I wrote down about my personal experience, my expectations and my overall satisfaction with the project.
As this was my first Youth Exchange I did not know what to expect. My base expectations were that I can learn something new, meet new people, look around the city, have more time for myself and have a new perspective in life.
Overall it was a great experience and one of the best weeks of my life. It gave me a new perspective on life. I feel like I am not the same person I was before. It was better than I expected. I may have had some issues but when I went outside and looked at the beautiful view I felt like nothing else mattered.
